TRAVEL BLOG TOUR 2019 ALBANIA, an unprecedented international media project bringing some of Italy’s most influential travel bloggers to Albania to showcase the country’s beauty, culture, and tourism potential to millions of followers worldwide.

Dario Pellè, how did the idea for the Travel Blog Tour come about?
The tourism industry is constantly evolving and, more than any other sector, has been deeply influenced by the media revolution that began with Facebook in 2004 and is still ongoing today.
Promoting travel and holidays has become more of a media-driven activity than a practical one. A Tour Operator must be an expert in communication and understand the dynamics that drive users to make purchasing decisions in order to succeed.
Tourism is one of the sectors most impacted by Influencer Marketing and by the newest forms of communication and promotion.
Brain and Heart is a young Albanian company owned by Italian entrepreneur Dario Pellè, who decided to experiment with innovative and unconventional promotional solutions.
“Influencer marketing,” he explains, “is a strategy we already tested last year when we hosted, during two separate weekends, two professional bloggers: Elisabetta Bertolini and Alessia Foglia.
The success of that experience and the data we collected encouraged us to create the Travel Blog Tour 2019.
The major difference with this project lies in the numbers: the media impact will be much greater and the total engagement generated by the event will exceed one million followers every single day.
We involved 10 of the most important and influential figures in the Italian blogging scene, who will simultaneously and in real time tell their followers about our territory.
According to estimates provided by the Italian Influencer School, tests conducted on a sample account indicate around 70,000 profile views and 150,000 impressions in just 24 hours. All of this will then be amplified by users sharing and spreading the content published by the bloggers.
One of the strongest aspects of these promotional techniques is precisely the spontaneous involvement of users, which, although impossible to measure exactly, is a direct consequence of the influencers’ engagement and the quality of the content that will be published online during the tour.
In fact, we believe we have all the right ingredients to achieve viral exposure, since every post will potentially reach millions of users.
For this reason, we immediately defined the Travel Blog Tour 2019 as the largest media event ever organized to promote tourism in Albania.”
Who is taking part in the project?
“The Tour was designed and organized together with Miriam Chilante, founder of the Italian Influencer School, the leading Italian organization in the field of training new influencers. Miriam is followed daily on Instagram by more than 67,000 followers who ask her questions and seek advice on how to become influencers themselves.
Miriam Chilante is also the author of one of Italy’s most popular luxury family travel blogs: Viaggi Sogni e Passione.
Thanks to the Italian Influencer School, we were able to access a database of bloggers and influencers truly capable of reaching the hearts of their followers because, let’s not forget, our goal is to promote Albania and open it to new opportunities.
Participants in the project were selected according to extremely strict criteria, including the actual measurement of their influence, the writing style of their blogs, and their real coverage across all major social platforms. We will give them the opportunity to tell the story of our country from different perspectives, with the hope of continuing to collaborate with this fantastic group of bloggers even after the tour.”

Luciana Fani, how does Travel Massive act as a bridge for the event?
The very nature of blogging implies a natural inclination toward sharing and collaboration. Bloggers, by definition, must interact.
Travel Massive Albania is part of an international network that promotes tourism, travel, and cultural exchange all over the world.
The Travel Blog Tour is therefore an opportunity to fulfill the primary mission of Travel Massive: promoting tourism in Albania.
Soon after, however, we realized that this was also a great opportunity to encourage cultural exchange between the Italian bloggers from the Italian Influencer School and Albanian bloggers, precisely from the perspective of “doing blogging.”
For this reason, we created the Welcome Meeting, where the two communities will come together to begin a dialogue that, for once, will start in real life and then continue — without ever stopping — through the incredible tool that is the internet.
This moment of dialogue, therefore, will not only be inspired by the Travel Blog Tour 2019 but, in our intentions and hopes, will become a bridge capable of connecting the two communities forever through the communication channels made available by the web.
